This BC Trading Program Policy (“Policy”) applies to all customers participating in the ZNOOX BC Trading Program (“Program”). By submitting a trade-in request or participating in the Program, the customer agrees to be legally bound by this Policy.

This Policy must be read together with the ZNOOX Return, Refund & Exchange Policy, Delivery & Shipping Policy, Warranty Policy, and Terms of Use.

In the event of any conflict or ambiguity between this Policy and any other ZNOOX policy, ZNOOX reserves the right to determine the governing interpretation to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The ZNOOX BC Trading Program allows eligible customers to trade in used furniture in exchange for credit toward the purchase of new ZNOOX products, subject to approval, inspection, and compliance with this Policy.


  1. OWNERSHIP REPRESENTATION AND LEGAL AUTHORITY

By participating in the Program, the customer represents and warrants that:

· They are the lawful owner of the trade-in item
· They have full legal authority to transfer ownership
· The item is free of liens, financing obligations, rental agreements, or third-party ownership claims
· The item is not stolen and is not subject to any legal dispute

ZNOOX assumes no responsibility or liability for ownership disputes or third-party claims.


  1. ACCURATE REPRESENTATION REQUIREMENT

Customers must provide accurate photographs and descriptions of the item intended for trade-in.

The item presented at pickup must be the same item shown in the submitted photographs and description.

Any material misrepresentation may result in, at ZNOOX’s sole discretion:

· Cancellation of trade-in credit
· Adjustment of valuation
· Refusal of pickup
· Administrative or operational charges as outlined in the Fee Schedule


  1. CONDITION CONSISTENCY REQUIREMENT

From the time of submission to the time of pickup:

· The item must remain in substantially the same condition as originally represented
· No significant structural damage may occur
· Minor dust, superficial marks, or normal residential wear may be acceptable

ZNOOX shall determine, at its sole discretion, whether the item’s condition has materially changed based on reasonable commercial standards.

If the condition is deemed materially different, ZNOOX may:

· Adjust the trade-in value
· Cancel trade-in approval
· Charge operational costs as outlined in the Fee Schedule


  1. FINAL VALUATION AND NON-NEGOTIABILITY

Trade-in valuation is determined by ZNOOX based on commercial inspection, condition, resale viability, and internal grading standards.

All valuations are final and non-negotiable.

Final confirmation occurs at the time of physical pickup and inspection.


  1. VALIDITY PERIOD OF TRADE-IN OFFER

Trade-in offers remain valid only for the period specified in writing (including email).

If pickup does not occur within the stated period, ZNOOX reserves the right to revise or withdraw the offer.


  1. ACCESS AND REMOVAL REQUIREMENTS

Customers are solely responsible for ensuring the trade-in item is safely removable.

Customers must ensure:

· Adequate access paths
· Suitable doorways, elevators, and stair access
· Compliance with building requirements

ZNOOX is not responsible for:

· Removing doors
· Altering property structures
· Performing construction or modifications

If the item cannot be safely removed, ZNOOX may cancel or revise the trade-in approval, and operational costs for any attempted pickup may apply as outlined in the Fee Schedule.


  1. MULTIPLE ITEM CONFIRMATION AND FAILURE TO PROVIDE ITEMS

If multiple items are approved for trade-in but not all items are provided at pickup, ZNOOX may, at its sole discretion:

· Adjust or revoke trade-in credit
· Recalculate transaction value
· Charge administrative or operational costs as outlined in the Fee Schedule
· Cancel participation in the Program


  1. FINAL TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP

Upon pickup:

· Full, permanent, and irrevocable ownership transfers to ZNOOX
· The item becomes the exclusive property of ZNOOX
· The item is non-returnable under any circumstances

The customer permanently relinquishes all ownership rights.


  1. DISPOSAL AND USE RIGHTS

After ownership transfer, ZNOOX may, at its sole discretion:

· Refurbish
· Resell
· Donate
· Recycle
· Dismantle
· Dispose of

The item is in accordance with operational and sustainability practices.

The original owner shall have no future claim or right.


  1. TRADE-IN CREDIT TERMS

Trade-in credit:

· Has no cash value
· Is non-transferable
· Is non-divisible
· Applies only to the approved transaction
· Cannot be converted to cash


  1. RETURN OF NEW PRODUCT AFTER TRADE-IN

If the customer wishes to return the newly purchased product, the return request must be submitted in accordance with the Return, Refund & Exchange Policy, including the three (3) calendar day submission window for change of mind returns.

Upon approved return:

· The traded-in item will not be returned under any circumstances
· Trade-in credit will not be refunded in cash or converted to any other form
· The customer remains responsible for all applicable costs, including return transportation of the new product and any trade-in pickup costs already incurred, as outlined in the Fee Schedule

Only the actual cash amount paid by the customer (excluding trade-in credit) may be eligible for refund, subject to deduction of applicable fees as outlined in Section 13.


  1. REFUND LIMITATION AND COST DEDUCTIONS

Only the actual cash amount paid by the customer, excluding any trade-in credit, promotional credits, or offsets, may be eligible for refund.

Any applicable return transportation costs, trade-in pickup costs, operational fees, or administrative charges as outlined in the Fee Schedule:

· May be deducted directly from the refundable cash amount; or
· If the refundable amount is insufficient to cover such costs, the customer shall be invoiced separately for the remaining balance, which must be paid within fourteen (14) calendar days of the invoice date

ZNOOX reserves the right to withhold refund processing until all outstanding costs are settled.


  1. HEALTH AND SAFETY CONDITIONS

ZNOOX reserves the right to refuse trade-in items presenting:

· Pest infestation
· Mould or contamination
· Biohazards
· Severe odor
· Structural instability
· Safety risks


  1. FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

If a trade-in item becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond reasonable control (including fire, theft, or natural disaster), the customer must notify ZNOOX promptly (within three (3) calendar days of the incident).

Upon such notification, ZNOOX may, at its sole discretion:

· Cancel the trade-in approval with no penalty to the customer, provided no pickup attempt has been made
· Reschedule the pickup if the item becomes available within a reasonable timeframe
· Revise the trade-in valuation if the item is partially damaged but still acceptable
· Apply operational costs as outlined in the Fee Schedule if a pickup attempt has already been dispatched and the customer failed to provide a timely notice

If a pickup attempt has been made and the item is unavailable, ZNOOX reserves the right to charge reasonable operational costs associated with the failed attempt, which may be deducted from any future credit or invoiced separately.


  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

ZNOOX shall not be liable for sentimental value, perceived market value, or loss of future use.

Participation in the Program is voluntary.


  1. FRAUD PREVENTION AND ABUSE

ZNOOX reserves the right to deny participation, cancel trade-in credit, or refuse service in cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or misrepresentation.


  1. POLICY MODIFICATION

ZNOOX reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time.

The current version published on the Website shall govern.


  1. POLICY ACCEPTANCE

Participation in the Program constitutes full acceptance of this Policy.

All fees are subject to change without prior notice. The applicable fee for any transaction shall be the fee in effect at the time the fee is incurred, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
